Hi All,

You would most certainly be forgiven for thinking I had disappeared off the face of the Earth for the past two years.  Unfortunately I was having a few health issues and every time I seemed to be getting on the right path again something else would crop us.  As with most teachers my students come first to ensure their learning was not impacted I choose to stop blogging and creating resources for my TPT shop.  However, 2019 is a new year and health wise things could always be better but not bad enough that I can't pick up the things that bring me joy again.

I have moved out of the classroom this year to take on the roles of Reading Coach and Primary Head of Department -teaching and learning.  Both of these roles of going to bring smiles, tears and frustrations as I move away from identifying the best ways to get children to learn into adult education and coaching.

The other exciting event I am looking forward to later in the year is a two week holiday in Egypt with Bookbag Tours.  We get to spend time at a local school, participate in professional development and see some pretty spectacular historical sites.

Officially we head back to work next week with Professional Development days and Mandatory Training but I have quickly realised when you are the person delivering said PD your holidays finish that wee bit earlier.

To making organisation more enjoyable I have made a printable 'To Do List' template and you can access it by clicking on the link below the image.

Wishing everyone a great start to their new year of teaching,
